Melange is the All-Mumbai Symposium of the IEEE-VESIT Student Branch. Melange means 'Confluence'. It is a technical conference catering to the needs of engineering students who want to learn more about the nuances of technology. It is a mega event comprising of a variety of technical lectures and workshops conducted by eminent people from the industry and academia. Technology today is reaching dizzying heights. Numerous advances in engineering are guiding us to uncharted territories, those that we could dream of a few years ago. The focus today is to encourage research for the development of cutting-edge yet cost-effective technologies. The challenge is to bring about an awareness in the youth about technology, thus, allowing them to attain the pinnacle of achievement. This is exactly what we have in mind as we set out to give this challenge a direction and a meaningful course. Melange is but a tool, endeavoring to demonstrate to our valued student members, this new world. It is a convergence - a forum to bring together ideas and technologies from all fields of engineering. It will be attended by around 300 students from VESIT and other colleges in Mumbai.
