Robosoccer is a flagship event by IEEE VESIT giving Members a chance to showcase their robo-talents. To aquaint the amateurs with the world of Robotics, a Seminar was held by IEEE VESIT exclusively for their esteemed Members on the 7th of September 2006 hosted by the IEEE VESIT Techical Advisary Board. The content included a basic gist of what the World of Robotics is all about.

The Seminar commenced with an informative and enthralling documentary on Robots, courtesy Robocon, followed by a short introduction to Level 1. The participants were provided with a list of components with specifications.

HEXABOT:
A hexabot was displayed on seminar made by Nayan Dodhia of D6. Working of respective robot was also covered along with some interesting videos.

LEVEL 2 ROBOT: INTRODUCTION AND WORKING.

LEVEL 3 ROBOT: INTRODUCTION AND WORKING.

VESIT ROBOCON ROBOT: OPERATION.

The Seminar concluded with another out-of-the-box documantary of a robot made by VESIT for Robocon.

The participation by the Members were overwhelming! It was truely an awe-inspiring Seminar. The Members brushed up with their robo-basics and geared up for the on-coming ROBOSOCCER!

In order to assist the first-timers, IEEE VESIT is organising a Robotics Workshop for the interested Members, starting 8th September to 11th September. Registration for the Workshop is underway, format prevailing as of, each team comprising of 4-6 members. Each team making one robot, to be used either for Attacking or Defending!
