After an intensive two-day workshop, we declare our flagship web designing contest open.

Rules:

1. The participants can build their websites on any topic of their choice.
2. Minimum Requirements :
   1. A Home Page (index.html)
   2. At least one inner page
3. A page containing Server-Side Script in ASP.NET would be appreciated and would carry lot of weight while adjudging the winner.
4. The entries would be judged on the following points:
   1. Aesthetic Appeal
   2. Organization of Contents
   3. Ease of Navigation
   4. How well the website serves your purpose of making it
   5. Innovation
   6. The efficiency and utility of the scripts used.
5. The entries (in .zip/.rar format) should be mailed to contests@ieee-vesit.org by 15 February 2007. The ‘Subject’ of the email must be “IEEE VESIT WEB-D CONTEST ENTRY”. Clearly specify your name and class. Describe the purpose of your website in a few lines.
6. All the entries would be uploaded on the IEEE VESIT web servers for 1 week. For that, you need to specify in the email the name of the folder in which your website should reside. The url of you page would be http://ieee-vesit.org/yourfoldername
7. The winning websites would be hosted on the IEEE VESIT web servers till the end of the academic year.
8. The winner stands a chance to become the web editor of IEEE VESIT the next academic year.
