IEEE-VESIT organized a seminar on "I.T. Security" by Mr. S. Hariharan, Senior Vice President, i-flex solutions ltd.
He started off by speaking about the goal of i-flex and introducing i-flex's latest product, the universal banking solution "Flexcube". His brilliant approach to inform the students about the various aspects of security like its need, risk areas etc. left everyone mesmerized. The attributes and structure of a security system were also explained by Mr. Hariharan. Aspects of authentication and encryption were exceptionally beneficial to the students.
The whole seminar was very interactive. Freebies were given away by Mr. Hariharan to the students who answered his questions. The Q/A session at the end of the seminar saw students asking and discussing topics like reverse engineering, foot-printing etc. with him.
As promised, it was an informative and great experience for all. It added another hugely successful chapter in the pages of IEEE-VESIT.
